March 17th to April 4th

Get ready for an exciting, action-packed literacy journey! Ravenswood students will participate in engaging activities designed to boost their literacy skills, track their progress, and earn prizes—all while developing lifelong reading habits.

Students can log their minutes across a variety of literacy-focused activities, including:

  • Independent or buddy reading

  • Listening to audiobooks

  • Completing iReady lessons centered on literacy.

FAQs for

Ravenswood Families

  • Your student has automatically been signed up for Rock ‘N’ Read. You will receive a registration email sent to the primary email address the school has on file. Please follow the instructions in that email to get setup.  If you do not have an email address on file or did not receive the email - please reach out with your student's name and class to: info@ravenswoodef.org

    Here are details of who the email was sent from and the subject so you can search for it in your emails (check your spam folder too!)

  • Mobile App

    1. Select the + symbol in the menu bar and select Reading

    2. Enter a new title/author or select a previous title

    3. Select Log Reading

    4. Enter minutes read and select Done

    1. Select Log Reading in the top left corner

    2. Select Log Minutes

    3. Select a date – (you’re able to log minutes on a previous day)

    4. Enter your time spent reading and optional title and author

    5. Select Log Reading

    Students can also log their minutes on their paper log. You can download and print your log here.

  • Absolutely! Parents, guardians, siblings, and other family members can read aloud to your child, and that time will count toward the total minutes read.
