Community Host

Thank you for considering serving as a Community Host of this year’s spring outreach event!  

Rock ‘N’ Roar is a community-wide celebration at the newly renovated Cesar Chavez Ravenswood Middle School. This event will showcase and support the high quality programs Ravenswood has to offer, highlight the new state of the art facility, and be a great afternoon with new and long-time friends!

Ways to Donate

How Rock’N’Roar is different:

  • We are inviting Ravenswood students, families and community members to see our new middle school campus and see our enriching programs first hand.

  • Free, family-friendly community event with lots of fun for kids, teenagers, and adults

  • Casual, Saturday afternoon celebration at Cesar Chavez Ravenswood Middle School

  • Carnival games, student and community performances, and interactive demonstrations

  • Delicious snacks and treats and special prizes

Support from Community Hosts will: 

  • Enable *free attendance* for all Rock ‘N’ Roar guests 

  • Enable REF to continue to provide equitable and high-quality educational opportunities for Ravenswood students

  • Replace a live auction or bid paddle raise at the event

All community hosts will be acknowledged in REF newsletters, social media, website, and event materials.
